The 1982 season was one of the most exciting seasons in the sports history. Not only was it a season when the eventual champion won with only a single win (only the second time in the sports history), but a number of other drama’s occured during the year to make it exciting, painful, shocking but most of all memorable.

The tragic death of a number of the sports best drivers including Gilles Villeneuve, the 2nd closest finish ever involving Keke and Elio, driver strikes, disqualifications, and the events at the Swiss GP (held in France) when the flag was nearly waved a lap early almost costing Keke his first win, all made this a Formula 1 season not to forget.
