1977 New Zealand Formula Pacific
The championship moved to the Formula Atlantic format for 1977 but was branded Formula Pacific due to local trademarks. The series was sponsored by Peter Stuyvesant. The points system used for the championship was as follows: 9, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 for the top 6 drivers in each race.

1978 Macau Grand Prix
For the 1978 race Keke joined the Marlboro backed Bob Harper Racing team. In the early stages he competed strongly, battling with eventual winner Riccardo Patrese, before a blown engine forced his retirement. This would be Keke's first and only entry for the famous junior single-seater race.
