DRT (Deutsche Rennsport Trophäe)

1982 ADAC - Flugplatzrennen Diepholz

This event was part of the regular season but was classified as a trophy race and so wasn't eligible for points. Keke would compete well before spinning with eventual 2nd place finisher Harald Grohs. With this being a rare non-single seater outing Keke remarked on how odd it felt: "the only door I normally close is the one on the toilet".

Keke competed in the final round of the FTCC a few weeks after winning the 1982 F1 championship. It appears that Keke primarily took part in the event due to his own affiliations with Marlboro and the championship receiving sponsorship from Philip Morris (under the Marlboro Challenge).
